Sustainable Cherry Hill’s executive board, members and supporters were treated to the beautiful sounds of Dichroic Glass at a spring 2012 event held at Cherry Hill Township’s Croft Farm Arts Center. While the lively conversation, food, beer and wine would have been enough, the melodious sounds of the Cherry Hill/Voorhees-based band, provided an extra touch that really made the evening so special. The band played original music and cover tunes that kept toes tapping throughout the evening. Event planners for Sustainable Cherry Hill were pleased to hear comments including, “The group made the song sound better than the original,” and “The band was the shining start of the dinner event.” SCH board chair Lori Braunstein says they are looking forward to including Dichroic Glass in future events.

Dear Kristin and Maureen,

I cannot thank you enough for helping to make our 3rd Annual Women’s Expo such a great success.

Our Expo saw record attendance and your performance added so much to our popular women’s event. I have received rave reviews from our exhibitors and our guests, all commenting on how much they enjoyed your music and selection of pieces. You were a huge hit!

It was an absolute joy to work with both of you. Thank you for your professionalism and for being so flexible in meeting the needs of our Women’s Expo.  I look forward to working with you again. Please save the date for our 4th Annual Women’s Expo Saturday, November 13, 2010!

What happens when two working moms get together and follow their dream? Perfect harmony. And the growing number of fans of Maureen Rush-Bogutz of Cherry Hill and Kristin King of Voorhees, who make up the dynamic group called Dichroic Glass (pronounced ‘die-krow-ick’) along with their husbands Al Bogutz and Greg King, will tell you that their music touches them in a very special way….

YOU MUST GET THIS. A fellow breast cancer survivor has made a wonderful CD of her music. She sent it to me and I have been playing it ever since I picked it up at the post office today. It is music for the soul. It is healing and empowering and empathetic and loving. I love it!

Lifelong friends and musical collaborators Maureen and Kristin of Dichroic Glass, along with their supportive husbands, Al and Greg, have one the finest sounding groups to grace our little coffeehouse. Promoting their fantastic debut CD and working to make this world a better place, their polished vocals and harmonies will make you smile and feel the warmth of such a lasting musical partnership. As good as it gets!

Mothers Singing for a Cure For the singing duo Dichroic Glass , performing represents a love of music, a bond of friendship, a family affair, and a fight for a cause.
